Battle for Wesnoth is a turn-based strategy game with a fantasy theme. Battle for Wesnoth has many different sagas to be played out, each with its own storyline and many levels. You can create your own custom units, and write your own scenarios and campaigns. There is also a multiplayer mode over hotseat, LAN or the internet. Even if a fantasy turn-based strategy doesn't sound like that much fun to you, you might be surprised!
Bontago
Bontago is an intense single and multiplayer 3D strategy game. The aim of the game is to build a tower using random blocks and to create a "shadow" that reaches a pre-designated number of flags. The shadow is created by placing random sized cubeoids on the circular playing area. The higher up a block is, the more shadow it produces.

Globulation 2 is an innovative real-time strategy game. It reduces micro-management by automatically assigning tasks to units. The player chooses the number of units they want to assign to various tasks, and the units will do their best to satisfy the requests. This allows the user to manage more units and focus on strategies rather than individual units' jobs. It can be played by a single player, over LAN or the internet.
Ground Control
Ground Control is a 3D real-time tactics game. The game focuses on strategy, tactics, and resource management much more than the average real-time strategy since it includes no unit or building construction whatsoever. Units in the game include various types of tanks, hovercraft, aircraft, and infantry, and are delivered to the battlefield by orbital dropships. Each unit type has special weapons, abilities, and armour. Players can choose to customize each unit or let the game auto-select the load-out for each mission.
NetStorm: Islands At War
NetStorm is a real time strategy game. Each player controls a priest on a floating island in the sky. The Priest can construct different buildings and learn skills to expand his knowledge. The object of the game is to capture the opponent priest and to sacrifice him in your alter to gain more knowledge and power. The game has both single player campaigns and multiplayer over the internet.
S.W.I.N.E.
S.W.I.N.E. is real-time strategy in which pigs and chickens battle against each other. It features very detailed 3D graphics and both single and multiplayer modes. Before and during the missions, you will have the opportunity to purchase or sell units, and upgrade or augment them with various items of equipment. S.W.I.N.E. narrows the focus to a small number of vehicular units, creating a more tactically oriented game.
