FlightGear is a sophisticated flight simulator whihc features realistic physics and an extensive selection of airplanes and terrain. FlightGear implements extremely accurate time of day modelling with correctly placed sun, moon, stars, and planets for the specified time and date. Over 20,000 real world airports are included in the full scenery set, including correct runway markings and placement, correct runway and approach lighting.

Takes scenery data from FlightGear and transforms it into map pictures. It can also be used for browsing maps and connecting directly to FlightGear to display your aircrafts current location on a moving map display.
